Training Fees 

​

Participation in the squad system is considered to be an annual involvement; therefore fees are calculated on an annual basis averaged out to produce 12 monthly instalments, including allowances for prescribed squad breaks at specified times during the year. The number of weeks offered for each squad is defined in the table below.

 

Fees are due and payable on the 1st of the month and in advance. The method of payment for monthly squad fees is via Direct Debit. All families are required to fill in the Direct Debit Request Form and return prior to beginning in the squad program.

Fees will be charged regardless of a swimmers attendance with the exception of prolonged absences of more than 3 weeks (Not including squad breaks or holidays) through injury, illness (see below for more info).

Squad fees include FREE entry to the Aquapulse complex in Hoppers Crossing and Werribee Outdoor Pool

Adjustments to Squad Accounts:

​

If a swimmer suffers any serious injuries, illnesses which necessitate a prolonged absence from training of more than 3 weeks, or in the event of pool/facility closures due to unforeseen circumstances, consideration may be given to adjusting the account in the following month.

If you wish to apply for a squad account adjustment, please complete the Squad Fee Adjustment Form, and return it to the Treasurer. In general all charges will stand and any corrections will be made in the following month. Terms & Conditions:

  • Participation in the squad system is considered to be an annual involvement; therefore the total fees for the year have been averaged out to produce the monthly amount including an allowance for prescribed squad breaks in the free structure at specified period during the year, with the same monthly fee being payable for all 12 months of the year. Therefore, even if there are school holidays or training breaks you are still charged the same amount per month. The same applies irrelevant which month of the year swimmer joins the club.

  • During the first month, if joining between the first day till 14th day of the month, full payment is required. There is no pro rata payment. When joining after the 15th of the month, a 50% discount on the squad fee would apply for the first month.

  • Fees are due and payable on the 1st of the month and in advance.

  • The method of payment for monthly squad fees is via direct debit. All families are required to fill in the Direct Debit Request Form and return prior to beginning in the squad program. A $30 administration fee will apply to your account if direct debit payment is not honored.

  • Fees overdue by 14 days or more will lead to the exclusion of your child/children from squad training.

  • Family discount – 10% for Three or more squad members.

  • Family discount does not apply to Development Or Mini Squad members.

  • Suspension or adjustment of Fees: Squad fees may be suspended or adjusted where squad member’s illness/ or injury for a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks resulting in an inability to train (Not including squad breaks). A medical certificate would be required for injury or sickness. As an allowance is made for squad breaks in fee calculation, squad break periods cannot be included in the minimum three consecutive weeks’ absence required for fee suspension or adjustment.

  • There are no make-up classes, even when there is no training due to unexpected pool closures or public holidays.

  • Club membership is renewed annually on July 1 and includes registration to Swimming Victoria. Swimmers aged 15 and under, require that at least one parent also joins the Club. 

  • Resignation. A member of the Club who has paid all monies due and payable by a member of the Club may resign from the Club by giving at least one month’s notice in writing of his/her intention to resign. However, for avoidance of doubt, this means that resignations would require payment of squad fees for the following month in full irrespective of when such resignation was received during the month. No pro-rata payment will be offered. Resignations from the squads must be in writing to the Club’s treasurer.  

  • Should a swimmer resign and rejoin the club within six months, then a rejoining fee of $90 may apply.

  • Laverton Wyndham Aquatics Inc. reserves the right to change, modify or update the terms and conditions, criteria, training times and location relating to your squad membership. Any such changes will be made with reasonable notice however sometimes these may have to be altered at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Check our website for latest changes.
