Team Uniform Policy
LWA is a proud club that highly values the supportive, team environment that we strive to create.
The Club expects its swimmers to represent the Club with pride, upholding the values that the Club stands for.
This focus on a team environment is enhanced when swimmers are dressed smartly in the approved club uniform.
This policy details the Club’s expectations in relation to wearing the club uniform.
We encourage all members to wear the club uniform with pride, and must be kept clean at all times ensuring no signatures or badges are on the uniform.
Uniform Expectations
All Club swimmers and team managers are expected to comply with this policy.
(Parents are encouraged to support the policy).
All Club swimmers are strongly encourage to wear the Club Uniform during training.
The Club has two distinct uniforms, as follows:

General Uniform: The Club’s General Uniform is detailed below. When representing the Club at Swimming Victoria sanctioned swim meets, or other occasions where the Club directs, swimmers and team managers are expected to wear the General Uniform as detailed below.

Nationals Uniform: The Nationals Uniform is detailed below. When representing the Club at National events, or other National event related occasions where the Club directs, swimmers and team managers are expected to wear the Nationals Uniform as detailed below.
General Uniform
The Club’s General Uniform comprises:

LWA Hoodie
During medal presentations swimmers must wear the Club LWA Polo or Round Neck T Shirt.
National Uniform
The Club’s Nationals Uniform comprises of:

LWA Shorts

LWA Cap

During Nationals medal presentations swimmers must wear the full Nationals Uniform, and will be is strongly encouraged.
State & National Team representatives
Swimmers qualifying and attending State Championships are presented with an event specific T-shirt and cap, at Clubs discretion.
Swimmers qualifying and attending National Championships are presented with a National Team Uniform, at Clubs discretion.
National Team uniform consists of event specific T-shirt, Cap, Tracksuit top and pants.
Supporters:
Club supporters are able to purchase items from the uniform range (other than Nationals uniform) and are encouraged to wear them at meets, in support of the Club.
